You may recognize this dress as my State of the Union dress.  It really was a great buy because I can dress it up very professionally as I did for the address, switch out the jacket for a cardigan and take it down a notch, or wear it sleeveless for a date dress (you know, assuming I ever go on another date…)

This go round, I chose to wear my tortoise-shell pumps with a more casual bracelet to match the upscale flavor of the dress but not be too fancy for my office.  Tortoise-shell is technically a print, I suppose, but it really functions as a neutral, so it went fine with the stripes of the dress.

You can’t tell from this picture, but my legs are still super white.  However, a spring day in Georgia calls for bare legs, so I decided to embrace the white and go for it.  I was glad I did.

Fingers crossed, maybe I’ll show you the third way to wear this dress someday soon.  No promises.
